Grab your partner and your tennis whites — ELE Wimbledon: The 5th Major is coming to AJ's in Craighall Park this Heritage Day.
It's a padel tournament and a family party rolled into one big afternoon, and every cent goes to Everybody Love Everybody (ELE), keeping underprivileged children in school.
On court, 20 teams battle it out across all five of AJ's courts — a group stage into knockouts, with the semi-finals and grand final played on our covered "rave cave" centre court under a full DJ and lights production. Mega team prizes for the winners, plus prizes for best-dressed and the champions of our side challenges.
Off court, there's a whole day for the family: a kids' activation zone with jumping castles, face painting and games; a best-dressed competition (tennis whites strongly encouraged); Pimm's and strawberries; a live DJ all afternoon; and fun for everyone with our knock-the-bottle accuracy challenge and the legendary drinking boat race. Raffle and silent auction on the day too.
Come to play, come to watch, or come for the party — and know that your ticket is putting a child through school.
