The HomeComing Foundation is a South African non-profit organisation dedicated to creating safe, dignified and inclusive learning environments for disadvantaged learners. Through strategic partnerships with corporates, donors, government and communities, the Foundation develops sustainable infrastructure solutions that improve educational outcomes and enhance the wellbeing of children. Our flagship initiative, #TheBucketStopsWithMe, focuses on replacing unsafe pit and bucket toilets with safe, sustainable sanitation facilities, ensuring that every learner has access to the basic infrastructure needed to learn, thrive and reach their full potential. Friends Like Me - The Last Picnic of 2026 🧺💛
Before the year ends, there’s time for one more picnic.
On 9 December, Friends Like Me returns for our final edition of 2026, one last day to gather your favourite people, put the blankets down and make a few more memories before we say goodbye to the year.
Expect the Friends Like Me you know and love: good music, good food, beautiful people and a soundtrack made for singing along with the friends beside you.
It’s been a year of picnics, friendships and unforgettable moments, and there’s no better way to close it than together.
Bring your friends. Bring your picnic energy. We’ll bring the soundtrack. 🧺🎶

No Under 18's
Identification is required
No firearms
No illegal substances
No liquids allowed into the event but non-cooked snacks and treats are welcome
No gazebos but camp chairs and picnic blankets are welcome
No bad vibes are permitted in the space
No hubbly gas stoves
All event parking will be available at the venue. It’s safe, secure, and just a short walk away from the picnic, please set Loftus Park as your destination! 🚗
By attending this event, you acknowledge and agree that HomeComing Events, its partners, affiliates, and sponsors have the right to photograph, film, and record you while on the event premises.
These images, videos, and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, and media publications, without any requirement for prior notification or additional compensation. Your attendance also grants the same rights to our partners and affiliates for their promotional use.
By entering the event, you release HomeComing Events, its partners, and affiliates from any claims or liability arising from the use of such materials. Your presence at the event serves as acknowledgment and agreement to these terms
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a Homecoming Events event, you do so entirely at your own risk. Homecoming Events, its directors, employees, contractors, sponsors, partners, venues and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, theft, damage to property, expense, inconvenience or claim arising from attendance at the event. Attendees are responsible for their own safety, conduct and personal belongings at all times. Homecoming Events reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person for unsafe, unlawful, disruptive or intoxicated behaviour without refund. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be exchanged. Homecoming Events reserves the right to amend event details, including artists, venue, date, time, programme and layout due to operational requirements, force majeure or circumstances beyond its control.
