I'm hosting an authentic, art-school style workshop in the historic hall behind Trinity Church in Kalk Bay.
Instead of a boring paint-by-numbers night, I'm setting up a full multimedia studio environment designed to give people total creative freedom.
The hall will feature a live female model, a bold floral still-life arrangement, and a large projection of crashing ocean waves and coastal sunrises flowing across the walls.
How it works:
• Hour 1: Expressive charcoal drawing warm-ups using the live model and floral arrangement under the ambient glow of the projection.
• Hour 2+: Painting with complete freedom on canvas using premium Iris acrylics. Paint the figure, the flowers, the projected waves, or combine them all into your own unique artwork.
