The SONS OF NGONI is a music project that explores the deep connection between the ancient musical traditions of the ngoni people and the diverse indigenous sounds of Southern Africa. The project brings toget her traditional and contemporary musical expressions\, creating a platform where heritage\, identity and inovation meet.
At its co re\, the project seeks to connect the ancestral sounds of the Ngoni with t he rythmic and melodic traditions of Maskandi\, with elements of Kora soun ds and Siswati music\, while incorporatinh Africa artistry.
Through the collaboration of Sibusile Xaba and Siso Nkambule\, THE SON S OF NGONI creates a unique musical dialogue between different cultures an d generations.
The experience honours ancestral sounds w hile creating a comtemporary platform for collaboration\, unity\, and cult ural preservtion bridging generations and communities through the universa l language of music.
