

Johannesburg Pride 2026 | Authentic Pride Unleashed
Join us on 31 October 2026 in Sandton for Johannesburg Pride — a celebration of love, visibility, community and LGBTQIA+ pride.
Under the theme “Proudly African, Authentically You,” we come together to celebrate who we are, honour those who paved the way, and create space for everyone to live and love authentically.
Entry is FREE, but registration is required. Come experience an unforgettable day featuring 3 stages, live entertainment, DJs, the Pride March, food, drinks, vendors and so much more.

Johannesburg Pride is an all-ages event. Guests under 18 are welcome but must remain under the supervision and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian at all times.
No alcohol will be served or supplied to anyone under the age of 18. Valid identification may be requested when purchasing alcohol.
Children and minors may not attend or remain at the event unsupervised. Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and conduct of minors in their care.
Secure parking will be available at several parking facilities within the Sandton precinct, including Sandton City, Nelson Mandela Square, The Marc, LXX and the Gautrain station.
Guests are strongly encouraged to consider public and alternative transport options due to increased traffic and limited parking on Pride day. The Sandton Taxi Rank is within walking distance of the venue, while the Gautrain provides convenient access to Sandton.
E-hailing services such as Uber and Bolt are also encouraged. Guests using e-hailing services should follow event-day traffic instructions and designated drop-off and pick-up points where applicable.
Please note that parking availability and fees are subject to the individual parking facilities.
For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following items are strictly prohibited at Johannesburg Pride:
-Illegal drugs or any illicit substances
-Weapons of any kind, including knives, firearms or items that may be used as weapons
-Outside alcohol or beverages
-Outside food or meals
-Glass bottles or glass containers
-Gazebos, tents, large umbrellas or structures
-Large camping chairs, tables or furniture
-Fireworks, flares or other explosive itemsItems that could pose a safety risk or disrupt the event
-Unauthorised professional photography, recording or commercial equipment
-Any item deemed inappropriate or unsafe by event security
All bags and belongings may be subject to security screening upon entry. Johannesburg Pride reserves the right to refuse entry or confiscate prohibited items in accordance with event and security regulations.
