

The SONS OF NGONI is a music project that explores the deep connection between the ancient musical traditions of the ngoni people and the diverse indigenous sounds of Southern Africa. The project brings together traditional and contemporary musical expressions, creating a platform where heritage, identity and inovation meet.
At its core, the project seeks to connect the ancestral sounds of the Ngoni with the rythmic and melodic traditions of Maskandi, with elements of Kora sounds and Siswati music, while incorporatinh Africa artistry.
Through the collaboration of Sibusile Xaba and Siso Nkambule, THE SONS OF NGONI creates a unique musical dialogue between different cultures and generations.
The experience honours ancestral sounds while creating a comtemporary platform for collaboration, unity, and cultural preservtion bridging generations and communities through the universal language of music.
