1.    Proudly SA Designer Couture: Gowns and tuxedos by South African designers.

2.    Cultural Heritage: Traditional attire embodying cultural identity.

3.    Emerging Designers: Non-designer, dressmaker creations.

4.    Innovation: Sustainable, eco-friendly homemade attire, crafted by the contestant from recycled materials.

5.    Retail Excellence: Best Ladies Fashion, Men's Store, or SA-inspired boutique.

6.    E-commerce: Online fashion dress or suit store.

7.    Hire & Occasion Wear: Dress or tuxedo/suit hire service.

8.    Cultural Fusion: Glamour styles blending SA fabrics with international elements.

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER:

1.    The contestant must be 17 - 19 years old, male or female.

2.    All matriculants can enter, regardless of farewell event dates.

3.    Contestants may enter ONE category ONLY: Male or Female.

STEPS TO ENTER:

1.    Complete online HOWLER Questionnaire

2.    Pay R250 Registration fee via HOWLER

3.    Submit a clear photo of yourself in your Matric Glamour Attire via HOWLER to finalise as proof of Registration.

NOTE: For contestants under 18, Parent/Legal Guardian consent required (refer clause 4.2.2(1))

AWARDS:

1.    Be Crowned SA's First MS and MR MATRIC GLAM SA 2026, the ultimate MATRIC QUEEN and KING of GLAM, fashion trendsetters, and style icons - setting new benchmarks in Matric Glamour nationwide.

2.    Compete for the prestigious "Be the Change Award" #bethechange, celebrating innovation, sustainability, and cultural pride, driving positive change in South Africa.

Recipient receives a study award towards a degree in Fashion Design, honouring innovation, sustainable practice's and creativity.

3.    Prize Awarded for outstanding Matric Glamour Attire representing a fusion of textiles reflecting the Ubuntu legacy.
