This Heritage Day, Heinz is bringing you the taste you’ve been missing with an unforgettable Heinz Braai Day at River Cabin.
Come together around the fire for a day packed with great food, refreshing drinks, games, Heinz Goodies and live entertainment, all centered around our biggest statement of the day: 125 braai stands coming together to create the iconic Heinz Keystone.
Then, from 15:00, the braai makes way for the festival as DJ Kent & local favourites take us through to close.

How the Braai Works | 12:00 – 15:00
Bring your meat. Bring your snacks. Bring your people. We’ll take care of the rest.
Get there early from 12:00 midday, the fires are on.
You’ll have three hours to fire up the braai, enjoy good food and connect with friends and family as 125 braai stands come together in the iconic Heinz Keystone shape.
Heinz will provide:
- Access to the Heinz braai facilities
- Braai stands ready to fire up
- Coal and firelighters
- Heinz sauces to bring the flavour
- Games, activities, and Heinz experiences
The Heinz Braai Experience runs from 12:00–15:00 only, so arrive early and don't miss your chance to get around the fire.
MORE THAN JUST A BRAAI
While the fires are going, there’s plenty more to experience.
Heinz Mix It Up – Mix, match and discover your perfect Heinz sauce combination.
Heinz Game On! – Go head-to-head with friends in Giant Jenga, bean bag toss and other challenges.
Heinz Little Squeezers – A dedicated family zone with age-appropriate activities and entertainment.
Heinz Giveaways – Look out for merchandise, prizes and Heinz surprises throughout the day.
THE FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE

The fires wind down. The volume turns up.
From 15:00, Heinz Braai Day turns into a feel-good afternoon festival.
Grab a drink, enjoy the food, get involved in the Heinz experiences and settle in as our DJs take over River Cabin.
Bringing the soundtrack to the celebration will be DJ Vin D, DJ Chrizz Beatz, DJ Nate and DJ Bazzy, building up to our headline act:

Expect feel-good music, great energy and the perfect soundtrack to celebrate Heritage Day.

GET YOUR TICKET
Tickets are limited and must be secured in advance via Howler.
There will be no tickets available at the gate on event day. Entry to Heinz Braai Day will only be granted to guests with a valid event ticket issued through Howler.
Once you’ve secured your ticket, make sure it is available on your Howler app/account and ready to be scanned at the venue entrance.

The Heinz Braai Experience runs from 12:00–15:00 only, followed by the Festival Experience from 15:00–20:00.
No Howler ticket. No entry. Secure yours early.

Only children aged 12 years and older may participate in the braai. Children must remain under adult supervision.
Guests may not bring their own braais, gas equipment, coal, or firelighters.
No outside alcohol or beverages are permitted.
Alcohol will only be served to guests aged 18+. Valid identification may be requested.
Access will be controlled at the venue entrance.
Security and event safety personnel will be present throughout the event.
No weapons, illegal substances or hazardous materials are permitted.
Right of Admission Reserved.
